Whitetrash Cookbook

This is a glorious concept. Check it out at http://whitetrashcookbook.com/

It was mentioned in the author extract of one of my nanowimo buddies who lives in Vermont. We must put our heads together and figure out what equivalent term we have in Ireland. We won't have any problem collecting the recipes. You've been raised on slimey spud pie etc etc.

And what about that picture at whitetrashcookbook.com. Isn't that kitchen a bit familiar looking. And what about the cook?

The scanger cookbook? Too Dub. The bogger cookbook? Too rural. There must be a compromise. Now, as we go into recession, there'll be such an enormous demand for tacky cheap recipes that pose as something posh that we'll have a bestseller on our hands.

I haven't counted these words. That's only oul' talk about 300 words.

There's another title. "That's only oul' talk about healthy eating."

Love the picture on the whitetrash website :)

How about Spuds for the Soul or Big Bites for Wee Brutes.

Oh I need that book.

And an Irish version? Every title I can think of is too cruel, so "Spuds for the Soul" gets my vote...the sequel can be about the Proper Pot Of Tea.

oy!
